Qualcomm Denies Smartphone at CES 2017 is Nokia 8

Jakarta - Event Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017, which expired last week it still remains a mystery. The reason is, there is an exhibition of products at Qualcomm booth managed to attract the curious public as touted as Nokia 8.

Although already forbidden to take pictures, in fact, a number of the visitors managed to capture these products in video format and pictures. Responding to the rumors, Qualcomm finally spoke.

Through a spokeswoman, Catherine Baker, an American company has denied these products is Nokia 8. The device was actually the same as any other visual items that are usually used Qualcomm annually.

"The news about Nokia 8 was not true, demonstration of the chipset 835 exhibited virtually identical to the demos of the latest products Snapdragon every year," Baker said, as quoted by Phone Arena, Sunday (15/01/2017).

Thus, the statement that called the rumors broke the props it is Nokia Nokia Series 8. 8 is indeed predicted the premium products from Global HMD, brand licensees Nokia.

Nokia 8 will reportedly come in two versions with different chipsets, the Snapdragon 835 and Snapdragon 821. Snapdragon 835 version has 6GB of RAM and a 24MP rear camera with OIS + EIS.

For the front camera, smart phone is equipped with a 12MP sensor. Global HDM provides two options of 64 or 128GB of internal memory, expandable with a microSD slot.

While Nokia 8 Snapdragon 821 version using a RAM size of 4GB. However, it could not be ascertained about the other specs of the device are expected to be introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017.
